Pyongyang, June 15 (KCNA) -- The efforts to create and apply advanced teaching methods have been brisk at the general education units of the DPRK.
Teachers of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School created a pursuit-style teaching method so that the students would develop the ability of using their own brains to practice.
Segori Senior Middle School in Pothonggang District attached to Kim Hyong Jik University of Education, has developed and introduced new teaching methods by image recognition technology, etc. so as to give the students more vivid images and help them to improve their cognitive faculty.
Ryongsong Senior Middle School in Ryongsong District, Pyongyang, makes sure that the students solve a problem by themselves through repeated discussions between teachers and students, between students and between groups.
Teachers of Hungsim Senior Middle School in Songchongang District, Hamhung City, created a method of teaching students a knack of the balance beam exercise on the basis of the motion mechanical and physiological principles in the physical education.
Sariwon Secondary School No. 1 has developed and generalized throughout the country various teaching methods of ensuring that teachers cultivate students' individuality and help them use their own brains.
Besides, the teaching methods developed by schools in the field of general education in Phyongsong and Kaechon cities in South Phyongan Province and other parts of the country are also effective in educational practice. -0-
