The 61st Enlarged Plenary Meeting of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea was held at the Sci-Tech Complex on the 28th.
Present at the meeting were Jon Sung Guk, Vice-Premier of the Cabinet; Sin Il Chol, Deputy Department Director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea; Kim Song Bin, Chairman of the State Commission of Science and Technology who is Chairman of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea; and members and alternate members of its central committee.
Also on hand as observers were officials of associations, societies, ministries, national agencies and provincial, city and county federations.
The meeting discussed the tasks of the committees at all levels, associations and societies for thoroughly implementing the decisions of the Eleventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the WPK.
A report and speeches were made and a resolution was adopted at the meeting.
