The G7 foreign ministers issued a statement referring again to “electoral fraud” during the presidential election of Venezuela held in July. In this regard, Venezuelan foreign minister denounced the statement as a groundless criticism about Venezuela’s legitimate election and political system.
He said that the G7 is now covering up their political, economic and moral defeat in its campaign against Venezuela and infusing fascism into Europe and the rest of the world, masquerading as mediator of world democracy.
He added that the statement of G7 foreign ministers reminds them that the Western countries’ hostile policy towards Venezuela can never change. He solemnly clarified that Venezuela has no other choice but to take tough line against the G7 member states including the review of the bilateral relations with each of those countries on a case-by-case basis.
